Lakewood's very own Minyan Shelanu is having its once a year Shabbaton this weekend at the Doubletree Hotel in Somerset New Jersey.
Over 100 boys will attend along with well over 100 mentoring couples.
Rabbi Yitzchok Abadi the founder of Minyan Shelanu will be there along with Rabbi Yitzchok Shain, Rosh Hayeshiva extraordinaire of Adelphia boys school.
Rabbi Abadi and his organization have been at the forefront of helping the growing number of youth in Lakewood that feel disenfranchised by a system that they may not fit into. He has recognized a growing problem and has selflessly stepped up to solve it..Minyan Shelanu is something Lakewood should be proud of and support with an open heart. Thank you Rabbi Abadi for all the good you do.
