Angry Mother-Medical Center Gave My Kids Cavities

I would like to warn other parents that they should double check when they go to a dental clinic that accepts their insurance to make sure all the fillings or procedures they do are really necessary. I was always happy with my dentist but he only accepted partial payment from our dental plan and we paid the rest.

We heard that a local clinic that is supposed to help defray costs for families would accept our insurance as full payment. I took my kids and noticed they were getting so much more fillings then before. I took my daughter for a checkup and was told she needs three fillings again.

I decided to go back to my old dentist. He checked her and said she looks good. I asked him if she has cavities. He said she looks fine. I told him that the clinic wanted to do fillings and he said he would never do fillings on such a slight surface decay.

He said to just keep an eye on it in case it becomes a real cavity. I went back to the clinic and gave them a piece of my mind. They said they are overcautious that a cavity shouldn't happen. They make a filling so a cavity shouldn't happen. I think it is because they wanted to bill my insurance they would let my little girl go through the pain of fillings.

Beware

While in the long scheme of things fraudulent dental practices---
and by practices I mean a dentist practicing his or her work and not an assortment of dental partnerships---and by partnerships I do not mean to exclude an office with only one dentist---which is the type of entrepreneurial spirit that Mr. Obama (notice I do not call him President Obama because I am so much smarter than him and also because I spend an inordinate amount of time listening to right-wing talk radio) is trying to extinguish in this country---well, where was I?, oh yes, fraudulent dental practices..as I was saying or to be more precise writing or to be more precise typing, is that one man or woman's declaration of a clean bill of dental health--which is not covered by Obamacare and why should it be--why should it be the taxpayer's burden to compensate every man or woman's molar care with their hard earned earnings-- is another man's profit, which is based on the pleasure principal of Freud--who was really a Marxist and a communist. So there.

As usual, Aron Joseph's clarity and insight helped me to understand the issue.

although not every economist--or psychiatrist for that matter, feel that Freud was a Marxist (at least not on the conscious level--perhaps on the subconscious level or on the unemployment level--which Mr. Obama's failed policies have kept the rate above 8% for the past few years, discounting the sudden drop of .2 percentage points conveniently manifesting -destiny or not!- itself immediately before the election). Some say he was a libertarian, given his proclivities in matters of the id, while others say that he was a Keynesian lazzeis-fairist. Whatever.

Why don't you write the name of this scamming medical clinic? Did you moderate the name? I was told they don't bill people in need and got a huge bill when I went there. I'm lucky I didn't have to get a pell grant to get medicine for my infection
