At the last BOE meeting, Board Artorney Steven Edelstein had announced that he was cooperating with a subpoena from the FBI requesting all files and correspondence between the Board of Education, Catapult special education services, and Ocean Health Initiatives.

In a strange turn of events, Board member Yoni Silver suddenly requested that the board fire the recently appointed Attorney. He was supported in his effort by Chesky Seitler who suddenly resigned as Board Vice President. They themselves were integral in having the previous attorney, Michael Inzelbuch fired and had him replaced with Steven Edelstein. Now that the FBI investigation is underway it seems they have had a change of heart.
Senator Robert Singer is an integral part of OHI(Ocean Health Initiatives). He was instrumental in bringing the center to Ocean County. We will keep our readers posted as the investigation continues. Hopefully it will not interfere with Singer's campaign in the Republican primary where he once again faces Republican challenger Harold Herskowitz June 4th.
