Member of Knesset  Uri Ohrbakh was in Lakewood today with Binyamin Hoffman, who was taking him on a tour to see all the sights.

MK Orbakh is a member of a party being criticized for trying to get  all Yeshiva Bochrum out of Yeshiva and into the IDF.

He was at Four Corners  eating lunch  prior to touring BMG & other places in Lakewood. Some said he may be here looking for potential recruits.

MK Ohrbach also initiated a project called “Feel at Home.” Via the project, hundreds of communities and synagogues around the country opened their doors to secular Israelis for a number of joint activities throughout the year. Similarly, Orbach, together with Labor Party MK Eitan Cabel, started the Lobby to Increase Tolerance between the Religious and Secular. The lobby supports any and all legislation that encourages cooperation between the sectors of society.

Orbach increased awareness about one of the more sensitive problems in the National-Religious community: the age of marriage getting later and later, and the increasing population of single religious people in their twenties and thirties. He kickstarted efforts to deal with this issue including recruiting hundreds of volunteers throughout the country.
