This past Friday night a young man was crossing Route Nine at 11pm. With only one car off in the distance he quickly crossed the street when he realized that the oncoming car was traveling at a high speed. As the car passed and honked at him he waved his hand towards the car to express his displeasure while realizing the car was actually a police car. The officer returned and askef the young man his name and address, accusing him of holding out his middle finger to him as he passed. A few days later the officer hand delivered a ticket to the hand waving pedestrian. The officer cited him with crossing against a traffic light.
Lakewood's finest are really going above and beyond these

Officers can be a touch bunch. Several years ago, I was driving down Monmouth with my drivers side window open. Apparently my My left hand, which I was using to support my head, was positioned in a way that looked like my middle finger was protruding. This according to the cop that pulled me over. He asked if i was giving him the middle finger, to which I denied. Low and behold I got a ticket for speeding. There's now way he could have possible ascertained my speed as he was driving in the opposite direction.

Let him sue. The Cops are here to protect us not to boost their egos and scare the tax payers who pay them their high salaries to be used against them. Its unfortunate that some bad apples give a bad name to a good group of guys. Who do their Job professionally.

Was this cop part of the undercover crosswalk detail? This cop should get a ticket for not yielding to a pedestrian in the crosswalk.

Should all take videos of how the cops don't stop for pedestrians to cross but they write tickets to others.

It is Not The COPS Fault That They do Not Stop For Pedestrians in the Crosswalk and occasionly run them over. The Cops are To Busy Talking on their Cellphones while They Zoom around Lakewood at 80miles an Hour
