TOMS RIVER — A 29-year-old Lakewood man carrying a loaded handgun was arrested early Sunday morning after he made terrorist threats against people at a township gentlemen’s club, police say.
Derek Slater, of 190 Melville Ave., is charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of high capacity ammunition magazine, making terroristic threats, resisting arrest and aggravated assault on police officers.

He is being held at the Ocean County Jail with a $300,000 bail.
