A Twin Cities rabbi took his invention to ABC's 'Shark Tank' to pitch his idea to a panel of 'Shark' investors.

It's a compact, magnetic, power-free accessory that fits over an iPad speaker to enhance sound. According to Weiss 'Kickstarter video his invention works by 'bending' the sound from the back of the iPad to the front.

After spending about an hour-and-a-half in the Shark Tank, Weiss walked away with $54,000 from Fubu creator Damond John. In return, John gets 40 percent of the company.
The show aired at 8 p.m. Friday. Since Weiss' observance of Sabbath prevents him from watching television on Friday, he will watch the episode with his friends and family Saturday night.
Weiss says he believes Shark Tank is truly a real reality show and that's because he said when entrepreneurs stand before the sharks, it really is the first time the sharks are hearing the pitch and meeting the inventor.
Weiss says the show will likely do a follow up on him.
SoundBender is already sold online and in Walgreen's stores at a price point of $12.99.
