School Budget To Pass This Week-Broken Promises

School districts still holding elections in April continued to be rewarded, with all but three out of 39 budgets winning voter approval on Tuesday.

But in Lakewood there will be a budget passed with a large raise, and the voters will have no say.

The record-high approval rate was not as monumental as it would have been in the past, since more than 90 percent of New Jersey’s districts have moved their school board races to November. Under the law passed two years ago, districts holding elections in November are no longer required to put budgets to a vote if they stay within the 2 percent cap.

Lakewood is not likely to stay within the 2 percent cap, and the public was not allowed to vote on the budget. Mr. Seitler and company were embarrassed to announce a large tax increase after campaigning on promises of reducing taxes without any idea how that coul be done.

Stay tuned for exact details on the budget. See it here first.

Who remembers that meeting when Carl Fink through a fit about moving elections, I guess were supposed to have faith in him again cuz his decisions are amazing.

If anyone here is into politics at all the Board is no different than the new Israeli government established under the leadership of BIBI, which without any doubt will fail. The new Govt in israel is built off hate of the chardiem and how to make them more crazy in any shape form or way, parties put aside differences to team up so they can gain power and rid the chardiem the same was here, No one really wanted to help the Klah or the children of lakewood, All they all wanted was POWER, removing Inzelbuch was key 1 but they never once cared about the kids or really helping our klah or gain the necessary funds they should be receiving. Think about it how was it possible a man like Mr Schwartz who I believe is out for the benefit of lakewoods children(only after winning election) run on the same team as a senior citizen, who all they care about is lowering taxes all day and do not care what the children get. I won't elaborate but the true colors of the men who have ruined our BOE and have cuz more chillul hashem to our town are coming out slowly.
Next election let's have people who care about your kids not about there private agendas or running off hate.
