So Who Exactly Wanted Langert To Be Deputy Mayor?

OK. Lets cut to the chase. I am not judging Steven Langert's right to be deputy mayor. This is not about Steve Langert. This is about a simple known fact. Isaac, Menashe and Meir did not want Steve to be the deputy Mayor. Yet Menashe and Meir caved in and went against Mayor Akerman's wishes.

In that fact lies the problem. Steve obviously has something over the other Committee members. Something damaging enough that he could get what he wants.

The whole sick circus that went on behind the scenes at today's little ceremony is the reason the Entire Township Committee needs to be eliminated. We need to start fresh. As Menashe Miller said

"Meir and I have been on this committee for over 9 years. We support each other. "
such touching words. The only problem is that whatever endeavors you supported each other in, were obviously what Steve Langert is holding over your head.

Congratulations Steve. You have shown us that whatever corrupt practices you could have possibly done in the four years you have been on the committee, Meir and Menashe have obviously done much worse. I hope you will all take guidance from Isaac. He truly has only what is best for the town on his mind, unlike all the rest of you.

Yes ALL of you.

2 of them are democrats so they wouldn't get it. that leaves Miller who was just mayor so it ONLY makes sense to give Steve the job.. HH everything is a conspiracy???

maybe its because the republicans are in the majority and you don't cross party lines. It may be as simple as that. No great conspiracies or blackmail.

Its nice they are giving ackerman a chance. If you heard him talking at the meeting it is obvious he isn't the most illuminescent in the pack.

Isaac may not be the most polished public speaker. That would belong to Ray. He is the best man for the tough job of Mayor though. Honesty, Integrity and hard work will make Lakewood a better place.

David, not sure if illuminescent is a word. My spell check says no. Perhaps you meant Isaac is not luminous? Full of light? As opposed to whom? the other bright shining Sylvania bulbs that sit on the same dais? Not one of them has the common sense or knowledge that Isaac has. They can simply put on a good show. You can dress up a dog in a cute outfit but its still a dog. We don't need an ambassador to be our mayor. We need someone with ideas and solutions to problems that will not be busy robbing us blind while draped in a flag singing Yankee Doodle dandy.

No one wanted Steven to be Deputy Mayor. It is true, you dont cross party lines because you will fall out of favor with your local party club which whom you will need come reelection time. This is exactly the reason why Menashe Miller was
chosen a 2nd year in a row. There was no other choice, the Republicans were in the majority, Steve Langert was not wanted and Isaac was still a newbie

The agenda o this blog is to make it abundantly clear what is going on in our town and to find ways to make our town the better place that it can be. I can assure you I do not hate anyone. Annoyed perhaps. Hate? Not at all. As for jealousy. I assure you I would never be jealous o people that have to live their lives making sure that their next lie doesn't contradict the last lie they told. I am not leak outs of people whose livelihood relies on the votes of people that they have secret disdain for. And I assure you I would never be jealous of anyone that has to fear having the curtain pulled back to reveal that all is not what it seems.
