We will be asking our readers to post advice about  where to find the best of Lakewood. It might be as simple as -best place to make a Bar Mitzva, or Best place to get an oil change.

This week we would like to start it off with one of the most debated subjects in the Jewish world .

Which company or restaurant makes the best Herring?

Please post your advice, and not any negative comments about any specific product or food establishment.
Thanks for your help.

Bubba Edelmans herring is hands down the best herring I've ever had by far. I just found out that after only being available in bull, it's finally available in retail only at eat-a-pita. I didn't make it there this week but I won't miss next week.

The only herring according to the Aida that does not have the anisakis worm in the flesh is the Arizona Herring.

Therefore to prevent eating worms in herring insist on the Arizona herring.

Others are also taking the Yuma Arizona wheat for their matzos.

A herring mit a shtikel matzo is taam gaan aiden.
